The world has been experiencing a renaissance, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. It requires businesses to transform and push beyond the customer experience (CX) philosophy and organize the whole business around the delivery of exceptional experiences. These experiences must respond to stakeholders’ new, often unmet and frequently changing needs and enable them to achieve their desired outcomes. This is the Business Experience (BX).

In our last blog on Why ERP Sirius ?, we talked a bit about user experience (UX) and user interface(UI).

ERP Sirius is quite unique in how it defines, manages, and presents the whole UX and UI.   Don Norman, a cognitive scientist was credited with coining the term “user experience” in the late 1990s. Here’s how he describes it: “User experience encompasses all aspects of the end-users interaction with the company, its services, and its products.”

An evolution of CX, BX is a more holistic approach that allows organizations to become stakeholders-obsessed and reignite growth. BX is very much a new category of leadership that savvy CEOs and their leadership teams will embrace as we move deeper into the coming decade.

ERP Sirius plays a vital part in a business by enhancing end-user’s experience and interaction with the business, its services, and its products. It is important to understand who the end-user is. In ERP Sirius it is the stakeholders. A stakeholder is a party that has an interest in a company and can either affect or be affected by the business. The primary stakeholders in a typical corporation are its investors, employees, customers, and suppliers. However, with the increasing attention on corporate social responsibility, the concept has been extended to include communities, governments, and trade associations.

Stakeholders business experience (BX) is enhanced in a number of ways;

  • Aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
  • Intuitive user interface.
  • Enhanced business information.
  • Enhanced business information sharing.
  • Secure information.

Aesthetically Pleasing User Interfaces

Our screen design layouts are based on the “golden ratio”, which is supposed to be the most aesthetically pleasing shape to the human eye.

The golden ratio, also known as the divine proportion describes a rectangle with a length roughly one and half times its width. According to the theoretical study published in the International Journal of Design and Nature and Ecodynamics, the most efficient proportions for the human eyes to scan is a rectangular shape where the horizontal is about one and a half times the vertical, which approximates to the golden ratio.

This golden ratio is applied to all our screen layouts and can be further customized by the user. This is can be done by resizing the screen or using the Splitter tsplitter.png bar that forms vertical or horizontal bar to separate data grids and panels.

Panels and tabs on the screens only show relevant primary information. Secondary information is shown on additional tabs that are just a click away.

Screen styles can also be changed. Users can choose a screen style that suits them best. This is important because it allows the personalization of the application and its user experience.

Intuitive User Interface

95% of module screens in ERP have the same look. The screens are designed to work with a mouse, keyboard, and touch.

Having the same look allows us to produce training material that is easy for users to understand, visualize and remember. Visualizing information read or relayed to you will imprint it in your mind, increasing the likelihood you’ll remember it. Producing video training material for our modules is also made easier. The user’s visual attention is clearly focused on primary training instruction.  All this makes ERP Sirius very easy to train on, learn and use.

Modules screens in EPR Sirius are generally laid out as follows;

  • A toolbar that allows the creation or editing of a business document or process.
  • A top panel queries the business document, adds filtration, and produces reports.
  • A middle panel that has a grid or list of business documents.
  • A bottom panel that shows detailed information about the business document in tabs heading. Information is also shown where the business document has a relationship to other business documents.

Enhanced Business Information

In simple terms, this means that all business information in every module is available to all stakeholders. This information is restricted to the stakeholders by their access or user rights within ERP Sirius.

Modules share and update business information with each. ERP Sirius uses colour coded status indicators to visually highlight document and process status. The process status indicators can be customized to a business’s unique requirements. This feature when combined with our mobile ChimesAI modules allows for “Enhanced Information Sharing”.

Enhanced Information Sharing

ERP Sirius modules all share and update business information. Business Information is shared automatically without the need to import, export or use additional processes. The update of business information can be both manual and automatic.

Our mobile app is a great companion, allowing stakeholders to receive business information the moment a business document or process is updated.

Secure Information

ERP Sirius is not only aesthetically pleasing in design but also very secure.  Data is presented, used, and tracked in a very secure way.

In ERP Sirius, all business information in every module is available to all stakeholders. This information is restricted to the stakeholders by their access or user rights within ERP Sirius.

Its databases are shielded with 256-bit cryptographic encryption. Stakeholders have separate login credentials for desktop and mobile. Login into the application can be biometric.

There are many levels of security required within a business. ERP Sirius +Mobile protects all stakeholders of a business and goes beyond legal requirements on Data protection. Being a fully integrated application business processes are protected against fraud and fraudulent transactions.
